Tempe Goreng

(Fried Tempe- Native Indonesian Method)

 

 

Indonesia is a developing nation and tempe has really come to its rescue. The locals cook Tempe in this classic but immortal style, which is also our favourite.

 

Ingredients:

 

  • Tempe 100 g

  • Salt 1 Tsp

  • Water 150 ml

  • Oil 2 Tbsp

 

Steps:

 

  • Heat oil in skillet.

  • Mix salt in water.

  • Dip fresh/defrosted Tempe in salt water.

  • Stir fry Tempe until golden brown on both sides.

  • Serve and enjoy
